Color Image Apparel Moves to Cloud-Based PLM
Los Angeles based manufacturer Color Image Apparel has invested in a new product lifecycle management (PLM) system to help improve speed to market and efficiency.
The company designs and manufactures apparel for men and women, including brands Bella+Canvas and Alo Yoga, both of which are sold through distributors in the US, Canada and Europe.
As the business grows, it is migrating to NGC Software's Andromeda PLM, which will scale as the company expands.
The cloud solution provides a platform all PLM-related elements including planning, merchandising, design, costing, sampling, quality and sourcing. Workflow calendars allow users to track progress, predict unexpected delays and keep all departments on the same page in real-time.
Critical path management processes and the ability to create role-specific dashboards mean users have the information to ensure products are on time, on trend and on budget.
"With Andromeda, Color Image will be able to realise all the benefits of our cloud-based solution, including faster speed to market and increased efficiency within their product development teams," says Mark Burstein, president of NGC Software.
