At NGC Conference, Brands Share Successes, Best Practices

New Generation Computing held its annual user conference on Nov. 14-15, 2013, at Florida's Eden Roc Hotel in Miami Beach.  Across the two days, the event was attended by more than 100 delegates representing manufacturers, brands and retailers from around the world.

Kevin Burke, president and CEO of the American Apparel & Footwear Association (AAFA), delivered a stimulating Keynote that summarized the state of the political dysfunction in Washington and the impact it is having across the industry.  Clearly the AAFA has more to do to help politicians and bureaucrats better understand the importance of strategic global trade agreements, and the real impact of well intended regulation upon the industry as a whole.

A wide variety of customer presentations provided real-world experience of the implementation of NGC's PLM, SCM and ERP solutions across dedicated tracks.

These presentations included representatives from Rocky Brands and Swatfame, who presented their experience in adopting the extended PLM and Supply Chain solution, and the business benefits they have already realized.
