NGC Named a Winner of the
2009 Supply & Demand Chain Executive 100 Award
MIAMI – June 25, 2009 – NGC® (New
Generation Computing®) today announced that
Supply & Demand Chain Executive has named NGC a winner of
the 2009 Supply & Demand Chain Executive 100 award,
“Supply Chain Saves the Enterprise.”
Supply & Demand
Chain Executive evaluated nearly 250 companies before
selecting this year’s winners. The awards highlight supply chain
solution and service providers that are helping their customers
respond to the downturn and, more importantly, position
themselves for growth ahead. The awards recognize NGC’s
leadership in helping supply chain executives position their
companies to meet today’s urgent business imperatives.
NGC’s innovative work in helping retailers and manufacturers
respond to the newly enacted CPSIA legislation was a key reason
for the company’s inclusion in the 2009 Supply & Demand
Chain Executive 100 awards. NGC is the first
apparel-specific software company to offer a solution that helps
companies comply with the complex, costly regulations of the
CPSIA (Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act). NGC®
also won based on the strength of its end-to-end solutions for
PLM (e-PLM®), Global Sourcing (e-SPS®) and
ERP (RedHorse®) and its long track record of
successful implementations for leading apparel, fashion,
footwear and retail companies.
“NGC is honored to be
recognized by Supply & Demand Chain Executive as one of
the industry’s leading supply chain software providers,” said
Alan Brooks, president, NGC. “NGC solutions are playing a
critical role in helping our customers weather the current
economic storm, and this latest award further validates NGC’s
market leadership in PLM and Global Sourcing solutions.”

fast, proven ROI. Every day, the industry’s best brands and
retailers increase gross margins, reduce the cost of goods sold,
and improve speed to market and product quality with NGC

integrated, end-to-end solutions for PLM (e-PLM®),
Global Sourcing (e-SPS®) and ERP (RedHorse®).

firm’s 2008 report on PLM for apparel and footwear and has been
recognized as a top 100 supply chain and logistics company by
both Inbound Logistics and Global Logistics & Supply Chain
Strategies. It’s no wonder that VF Corporation®,
A|X Armani Exchange®, Carter’s®, Casual
Male Retail Group®, Maggy London, R.G. Barry, Hugo
Boss®, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Isda & Co., Tristan &
America®, Parigi Group and many other leading
