received a "Strong Positive" rating in Gartner's "MarketScope
for PLM in Apparel, Footwear and Accessories, 2008."1 NGC was
one of 15 PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) vendors evaluated
in the report and received the highest possible rating, "Strong
Positive."
To be included in the MarketScope, each vendor of PLM solutions
for the AFA (Apparel, Footwear and Accessories) sector had to
meet a strict set of criteria, with products that provided
capabilities in at least five of the following 10 categories:
Product Management, Material, Concept Management, Storyboarding,
Line and Commercial Planning, Sourcing/Vendor Management,
Quality Assurance Management, Collaboration, Critical Path
Management/Workflow and PLM Analytics.1
